Wim Hof Breathing
It all begins with an idea.
Breath. The one tool you need to manifest everything your heart desires. This is something that we have taken for granted, as a busy society. Understandably so. In the spiritual sense, air contains prana, aka life force energy/vitality. This prana can bring the mind into a state of pure awareness. Whenever we enter pure awareness, we can tap into a power which can change the past, present, and future. Through Wim Hof Method, we change the chemistry of blood.
As we change the blood chemistry, we raise the pH, making the blood less acidic. This produces a healing state, which is the natural state of existence of our bodies and minds. This change in chemistry can heal chronic pain, trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and insomnia. It can especially help with troubled relationships with loved ones.
When we do the Wim Hof Method, the breathing activates the frontal lobe, and shunts blood away from the parietal lobe. This results in a bypass of the Default Mode Network(DMN). In other words, we bypass the ego, and step into our Soul. In that moment, we are connected to a Higher Power, Source, God, The Universe(or however you wish to call it). This higher intelligence has the capability to solve all of our problems, which have been plaguing us for our entire lives. This is done by simply strengthening your connection to the Source.
In a nutshell, we breathe in fully and deeply 30-40 times, followed by an exhalation of all of the air. We enter what is called “retention time”, where we hold our breath after removing all of the air from the lungs. As you hold the breath, you will enter “Progressive muscle relaxation”. As your body relaxes, as you hold your breath, you will notice that the urge to take a deep breath goes down. Minutes will go by where you are simply in the moment. You are connected to Source, and Source is providing you with energy that you originally get from the prana in the air that you breathe. See how its all connected?
As you do this, you are undoing past trauma, learning more ways to be present, finding ways to stop worrying about the future. You have entered “The Now”, the “Present Moment”, which is all there really exists in this thing called life. As you progress, you will improve your stamina, and eventually be ready to start cold therapy, which is explained in the next blog post.
